I looked through many comedy trailers to get an overall idea in how comedy trailers differ from other genres and how it uses its music and and editing to create an affective comical and humourous comedy trailer.
I got from it great ideas in which our group can enhance a comical scene within our tailer and the best way in which the concept of our narrative can be viewed in a 2-3 minute of the trailer. For example I relised that by the first minute of the trailer the basic narrative of the movie plot is percieved, the othher minute is when the 'disequilibrium' of the narrative is apparant and then during the end of the trailer is the funny and amusing parts of the movie.
So with this research and information, it has helped our with the plan of our trailer and and what will therefore go in the trailer.
The music especially was important and a crucial factor in a comedy trailer, and the more contemporary the more affective it usually is. The lighting in many comedy trailer and films is typically high key and therefore we took using artifical ligting in mind.
