I have thought about which conventions of comedy our Teen film will be, for example if it is going to be a typical teen comedy with the crude jokes and stereotypes of teenagers that party all the time, or an Art House type of film like Juno or Little Miss Sunshine.
I think that it will best to the Art House element of Teen Comedy which is somewhat more sophisticated and will set us up in a different league for our film trailer.
It will be simpler to achieve the best results, and therefore do a better job in sticking with these conventions, and also crudity in scenes can be limited, so all actors and actresses will be comfortable in doing any scenes.
Our Teen comedy however will apply some conventions of the typical teen comedy through the stereotypical characters of the Jock, Nerd etc. with the aspect of Art House comedy such as Juno and Little Miss Sunshine,

To get the feel and atmosphere of an comedy-drame Art house film we will ensure the music is right as it differs from the typical teen comedy's which apply very popular upbeat songs. So for our trailer we should introduce the trailer (so the opening) with a different song,(check out Juno for example), but still come one or to songs from the original song we chose, for example the last one.
