Progress Report
We managed to find a suitable cast for our film; the lead protagonist, helper, donor and other prominent characters for our film. Most importantly, we finalised our script and are ready to start storyboarding, as soon as possible. Also, we found suitable locations for the film; the school setting, Jenny's house, interior and exterior shots of the house and other notable locations. However, we have some problems regarding the shooting,as we intend to shoot the film in a warmer, brighter setting, as it is typical of our genre of teen comedy. On a more positive note, we considered shooting the main interior shots of the film and discussed how this could be managed in our group meetings.
Action Plan
For next week, I need to research into the conventions of teen comedy films; looking at jokes, gags, props and how humour is conveyed in the genre and start researching into how our film trailer could appeal to the target 16-25 audience. As well as this, I will research low budget teen comedy films and try to look at how comedy aspects are administered and how they can be implemented in our film. Guys, I will try to do as much as I can, as I haven't been at my best. The priority is to get this information, as it is pivotal for our genre and will need to be administered in our film trailer. We need to start filming the interior scenes and make sure the actors and actresses are available in order to complete filming, as time is of the essence!!
